Nicole Y. Mitchell is a Senior Attorney with Homan, Stone & Rossi, and has 17+ years of experience in the fields of personal injury law and civil litigation. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a graduate of the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where she was the recipient of numerous Witkin awards and graduated Cum Laude while simultaneously working full-time as a Paralegal and Law Clerk. She had the prestigious honor of representing her law school in multiple Moot Court competitions, and was the proud winner of “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Oral Argument" in the 2012 Roger J. Traynor California Appellate Moot Court Competition in Berkeley, California. 

Ms. Mitchell’s practice includes insurance defense law, general liability, complex litigation, and a wide variety of personal injury cases. Prior to joining Homan, Stone & Rossi, Ms. Mitchell gained invaluable experience working on both the Plaintiff and defense side (including as Staff Counsel for GEICO Insurance), which she credits for her unique ability to see both sides of any argument and use it to her clients’ benefit through tenacious, yet amiable advocacy. 

In her personal time, Ms. Mitchell enjoys cooking, traveling, RV camping, and spending time with her husband, 2 dogs, 3 chickens, and (soon-to-be) baby goats.
