Leena Moten is a Senior Attorney in the General Liability Department at Homan, Stone & Rossi.  

Ms. Moten’s practice primarily focuses on insurance defense matters, including personal injury – automobile and trucking accidents, retail and hospitality, habitability, property damage, negligence, class action cases and other general liability defense matters. Ms. Moten takes pride in protecting her clients' interests while providing thorough and zealous legal representation.

Ms. Moten is an experienced trial attorney. Prior to joining Homan, Stone & Rossi, Ms. Moten was a Deputy Public Defender in the County of San Diego for more than 16 years. Ms. Moten represented a diverse group of clients who could not afford legal services in both serious misdemeanor and felony matters. Ms. Moten was involved in all aspects of litigation – from initial discovery, negotiations, investigations, expert retention, motions and hearings to numerous jury and bench trials to verdict. 

Ms. Moten received her Bachelor of Science from Portland State University and her Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School, where she participated in its Legal Clinic. 

In her free time, Ms. Moten enjoys spending time with her two young daughters and taking advantage of the beautiful weather in San Diego.
