Grace M. Morton

Grace M. Morton is a Senior Attorney at Homan, Stone & Rossi specializing in workers’ compensation insurance defense.

Ms. Morton graduated from University of San Francisco Law School as a Stulsaft Scholar and as Managing Editor of the University of San Francisco Law Review.  She majored in Theater at California State University, Sacramento.  At University of San Francisco, she was awarded First Place and Best Brief at the Douglas Moot Court Competition at New York University.  During Law School, she clerked at the San Francisco Office of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and worked for the California Office of Legislative Counsel.  She has lectured and provided training for claims departments, Continuing Education at the Bar, and diverse industries.  She has successfully argued two cases favorable to the workers’ compensation insurance defense community before the California Supreme Court.

Ms. Morton has focused on the defense of workers’ compensation matters her entire career, representing insurers, self-insured public and private sectors, self-administered corporations, third party administrators, and Fortune 100 companies.  She is dedicated to providing clients with prompt, efficient, reliable advice and strategies.  

Her personal time is spent reading, gardening, and volunteering as an adaptive riding instructor for persons with disabilities at a local Northern California equine therapy ranch.
